Starting over at the bank counter
At the bank counter, Jimin starts to hand over some papers, then pulls back. At a new job, do you have to ask again about things you already know?
Not long after changing jobs, Jimin goes to the bank and finds herself trying to hide what she still doesn’t know at her new workplace.
Jimin’s senior colleague came with her to the bank. While Jimin looked over the papers, he answered the teller first. Whenever Jimin had to ask about something at her new job, the thought followed: “I knew how to do this at my old job.” In the counseling room, Baekho listens as Jimin describes the moment she froze with the papers in hand, then suggests laying out what she knows and how things work at the new job, like squares on a board. Jimin can’t decide where things belong yet. She looks down at the papers in her hands.
Asking again at a new job
Even tasks you knew before may follow different steps at a new job.
What did you have to ask about again at your new job?
The moment she pulled back instead of handing over the papers at the counter stays with her. Asking again about familiar things and settling into a new job may not belong in the same box. If there’s been a day when you swallowed a question in a new place, you can tell me about that moment too.
Scenes
- 01 · An answer at the counter An answer comes first — As Jimin checks which documents the bank needs, Taehun answers the teller first. Taehun: I’ve included the employment certificate too. Jimin: Oh, right.

- 02 · The question she couldn’t ask A question at her lips — Whenever Jimin wants to ask about a work process at her new job, she falls silent, thinking, “I knew this at my old job.” Taehun: You can send this document for approval here.

- 03 · The moment at the counter Where the papers stopped — After Taehun answered first at the bank, Jimin started to hand over the papers, then pulled back. She thought, “At my new job, I have to ask again.” Baekho: Jimin, maybe we can set what you know and how things work at your new job in separate boxes. Jimin: Then how much should I ask about the things I still don’t know?

- 04 · A page waiting for an answer Words she hasn’t chosen yet — Jimin looks at the blank page, then closes her mouth. The moment at the counter when she couldn’t hand over the papers comes back to her. Baekho: When you think about that question, what comes to mind first right now?
