Dreaming that your nameplate changes after a promotion - dream meaning with inherited lore

You discover that your rank has changed on the nameplate at your desk or outside a meeting room. You may read the unfamiliar title or see people around you looking at the new nameplate.

Korean lore: Traditionally, scenes where a name or title changes have sometimes been interpreted as changes in social position and role. A dream about your nameplate changing after a promotion may be seen as entering a new position after being recognized. (In folk dream interpretations, changes in names and titles are often understood as symbols of taking on a different place among other people.)

Through the mind: You may be in a period when you’re more concerned with how people will address and treat you than with the title change itself. The wish to be recognized more may be appearing alongside regret that it could become harder to feel as comfortable with people as before.
