Dreaming of pressing an elevator button - dream meaning with inherited lore

Inside the elevator, you look over the buttons for different floors and press the number you want. Sometimes you repeatedly check whether the button works, or hesitate over which floor to choose.

Korean lore: Traditionally, choosing and moving between floors has sometimes been interpreted as setting a new direction or seizing an opportunity. The meaning can also vary depending on which button you pressed and how you felt in the dream. (This interpretation draws on the folk tradition of connecting scenes of movement and rising with change and progress.)

Through the mind: It may reflect a situation where you have to choose your own next step in life, such as a career move, changing jobs, or moving house. If too many options are delaying your decision, your feelings may have appeared as the scene of pressing a button.
