Dreaming of an elevator stopped by a power outage - dream meaning with inherited lore
It may hold the frustration of having something underway stop because of outside circumstances, leaving you with no choice but to wait.
The lights inside the elevator go out, or the floor display disappears. You may turn on your phone’s light and wait for help, or spend time searching for the emergency bell.
Korean lore: Traditionally, this has sometimes been interpreted as a temporary break in momentum or a delay in plans. The possibility of moving again after the pause may also be considered, without treating it as a definite future outcome. (Folk dream interpretation sometimes connects darkness and stillness with delays in work or feeling emotionally blocked.)
Through the mind: This dream may appear when something you can’t move forward on by yourself—such as company approval, a contract, or a reply—takes too long. Your need for a way to release that frustration may have appeared as an alarm bell or the light from your phone.
