Dreaming of Seeing Water Outside an Elevator - dream meaning with inherited lore

When the elevator doors open, water has filled the hallway or the area outside the building. You hesitate between stepping into the water and closing the doors again.

Korean lore: Traditionally, scenes with abundant water have sometimes been interpreted in connection with the flow of emotions or changes in daily life. They may be viewed differently depending on whether the water was clear or murky, and whether you felt afraid in the dream. (In folk dream interpretation, the combination of water and a space for movement is often read as a sign of emotional change and instability in one’s living environment.)

Through the mind: You may have felt that emotions or responsibilities you needed to handle recently were all rushing in at once. The scene may also hold the feeling of pausing before a change you are not yet ready to enter.
