Dreaming of an elevator breaking through floors - dream meaning with inherited lore
It may hold anxiety that things are moving too fast, outside the order and pace you had set.
The elevator keeps moving without stopping at any floor, breaking through the floor and ceiling. As it passes your destination and you have no idea where it’s going, you draw your body inward.
Korean lore: Traditionally, this may be seen as going through a major change after leaving the expected path. If it felt exhilarating, it has sometimes been interpreted as crossing a blocked boundary; if it felt frightening, as a flow that was difficult to control. (This extends a folk and modern interpretation that reads an elevator’s upward and downward movement as changes in life stages and boundaries.)
Through the mind: A situation growing faster than planned, or feeling pushed in an unwanted direction, may reflect the burdens you’re carrying now. If there has recently been a change—such as in your career path, home, or relationships—that felt hard to undo, it may appear as exaggerated movement like this.
