A dream about an elevator showing strange floor numbers - dream meaning with inherited lore

The floor display inside the elevator does not match the actual building, or the numbers keep changing. Even after you press your destination, the display points to the wrong floor, leaving you confused.

Korean lore: Traditionally, scenes where floors or numbers become jumbled have sometimes been interpreted as a time when the direction of your plans is wavering or circumstances are hard to make sense of. If you remember an exact number, it may also carry a personal meaning for you. (In folk dream interpretations, rising and descending spaces and numbers are sometimes read in connection with your current flow or changes.)

Through the mind: It may reflect a wish to check where you stand in your work, career, or relationships. You might also look back and ask whether trying to meet others’ standards has made you lose sight of your own pace and direction.
