Mine was left out
While the lunch menu was being decided, only Yujin’s portion was left out. Before the cards came to mind, what surfaced was that one lunchbox missing that day.
Yujin, who always answered “Anything is fine,” brings up with her counselor the scene that came to mind before the tarot cards, on the day her portion was left out of the lunch order.
At lunch with her coworkers, Yujin says “Anything is fine” again. Minji places the order without asking about Yujin’s portion, and after seeing the missing lunchbox, Yujin lays out tarot cards in the counseling room. Before hearing what the cards mean, she follows the scene that came to mind, and the words she wanted to say to the person who decided without asking about her portion finally come out.
When it’s hard to speak up for your portion
Rather than rushing to decide what the tarot card means, look at where your portion was in the scene that came to mind first.
When was the last time something was decided without asking about your portion?
The scene stayed with me longer because of the words that passed without asking about my portion, more than the person who chose the lunch menu. There, I saw the mouth that said “Anything is fine” and the heart that wanted to choose lying in different places. If you’re carrying a moment when your portion was left out too, please tell me that story.
Scenes
- 01 · Lunch with the menu decided Lunch with the menu decided — Minji placed the group order without asking Yujin again. Yujin looked away from the menu and folded her hands in her lap. Minji: Yujin, anything is fine, right? Then I'll order pork bulgogi for the three of us. Yujin: Yeah… anything is fine.

- 02 · The Missing Lunchbox The Missing Lunchbox — There were only three delivered lunchboxes. Minji started to slide one toward Yujin, then pulled her hand back when she saw the empty chopsticks. Minji: Oh, I forgot yours, Yujin. You said anything was fine, so… Yujin: Oh… okay.

- 03 · Before the Cards Before the Cards — Yujin laid out the card, but Yeonhwa did not explain its meaning first. Yujin’s fingertips kept brushing the empty space beside the card. Yeonhwa: Was there a scene that came to mind before the card? Yujin: One lunchbox was missing.

- 04 · The Words for the Missing Portion The Words for the Missing Portion — With a finger pressed to the blank notepad, Yujin brings up again what was decided at lunch without asking her. Nothing has yet been written beside the cards. Yujin: They decided it without even asking me, leaving out my portion. Yeonhwa: You were able to say those words before talking about the cards.
