A dream about hesitating between the stairs and the elevator - dream meaning with inherited lore

You look back and forth between the stairway entrance and the elevator. The doors open and close, or the stairs are empty, but you cannot easily decide which way to go.

Korean lore: Traditionally, choosing among several upward paths has sometimes been interpreted as weighing opportunities and direction. If you could not choose any path right away, it may be seen as a state of not rushing the decision. (This is an expanded folk interpretation that reads stairs as symbols of effort and process, and upward movement as change and opportunity.)

Through the mind: When facing several choices, such as changing jobs, moving, studying, or a relationship, your mind may be comparing the gains, losses, and burdens in the dream. You may be looking for an approach you can handle, rather than the fastest result.
