Dreaming of racing up the stairs - dream meaning with inherited lore
Traditionally, competing on the stairs may be seen as striving to prove your abilities toward a goal or wanting to be recognized.
You race several people to see who can reach the top first. You pull ahead, running until you're out of breath, or get caught at the last moment.
Korean lore: Traditionally, quickly climbing stairs and getting ahead in a competition have sometimes been interpreted as images of ambition or rising socially. The tension and excitement you felt during the competition may matter as much as the result of winning. (This interpretation reads the upward movement of stairs in folk dream lore as achievement and a change in status, adding the elements of running and competition.)
Through the mind: You may be pushing yourself to move faster at work or in your studies while comparing yourself with others. If winning made you happy, the scene may also reveal both a desire for recognition and growing confidence.
