A dream about changing jobs along with a promotion - dream meaning with inherited lore
It may show both the desire to move to a better position and the fear of leaving a familiar environment.
After hearing about the promotion, you start working at another company or a new office. Your title is better, but unfamiliar people and work may leave you tense.
Korean lore: Traditionally, dreams of moving to a new position along with a promotion have sometimes been interpreted as a change in status and a new opportunity. If the scene shows you settling in even somewhere unfamiliar, it may also be seen as a sign of accepting change. (This interpretation comes from a folk tradition of reading scenes where you change jobs and homes as signs that your life is entering a new phase.)
Through the mind: You may want to be recognized more in your current organization while also wanting to change your environment entirely. If you felt uneasy at the new job, adapting and building relationships may have remained a bigger concern than success.
