Dreaming of finding your name on a promotion list - dream meaning with inherited lore
Finding your name on a promotion list can reflect both the desire to see your evaluation results and the tension you feel when comparing yourself with others.
A promotion list appears on the company bulletin board or internal email, and you try to find your name among the entries. Sometimes your name does not appear right away, or you keep checking the list repeatedly.
Korean lore: Traditionally, scenes where your name appears on a list have sometimes been interpreted as recognition or a change in position. Scenes where you cannot find your name are also sometimes seen as reflecting the desire to wait for an opportunity or caution about being evaluated. (In modern workplace dream interpretations, a promotion list is often read as a scene of checking the results of social recognition and competition.)
Through the mind: If you have been thinking often about recent work evaluations or comparing yourself with colleagues, those feelings may appear in a dream like this. The scene may also contain anxiety that arises when you want to know the result but still cannot control the situation.
