A dream about receiving congratulations on a promotion - dream meaning with inherited lore
It may reflect a desire to have your promotion recognized, along with the expectations of those around you.
People from work come over to congratulate you, and you receive applause, flowers, or gifts. You may feel happy while also sensing everyone’s attention at once.
Korean lore: Traditionally, being congratulated on a promotion has sometimes been interpreted as a flow of social recognition or becoming known. If the congratulations felt warm, it may also be seen as a dream carrying positive energy. (In folk dream interpretation, scenes of rising in position and being recognized by others have traditionally been read as a flow of honor and achievement.)
Through the mind: The dream may reflect your wish to be recognized for the effort you have made lately. If the congratulations felt burdensome, the scene may show the pressure of not wanting to disappoint people even after being recognized.
