A dream of losing your way to work after a promotion - dream meaning with inherited lore
It may show that your role has grown, but where to go next is not yet clear.
On your first day after the promotion, the familiar route to your office disappears as you head to work. Even after checking a map or transit card, you remain unsure of the way and hurry for fear of being late.
Korean lore: Traditionally, this has sometimes been interpreted as a scene of having to find a new path after one’s status changes. Being lost may also represent caution in the face of change or a period of finding your bearings. (This interpretation combines the folk-dream symbolism of roads and travel as the direction or changes in one’s life with the shift in status brought by a promotion.)
Through the mind: You may be glad about a promotion or career change, yet feel unsure about what standards you should work by in practice. The dream may also prompt you to consider whether you’re losing sight of your own pace and direction while trying to meet others’ expectations.
