A dream about being evaluated for a promotion - dream meaning with inherited lore

You explain your work achievements or answer questions in front of your boss or a review panel. Sometimes, the scene appears with missing materials or a voice that will not come out properly.

Korean lore: Traditionally, dreams of taking a test or being evaluated have sometimes been interpreted as a process of checking your current abilities. Doing well may be seen as a sign that something stuck is beginning to move, but the dream should not be taken as deciding the outcome. (In folk dream interpretation, scenes of tests and evaluations have sometimes been read as a process of showing your abilities and trying to pass through an obstacle.)

Through the mind: Scenes like this may appear when you are close to being judged in real life, such as during a supervisor’s review, performance season, or job-search preparation. If the pressure to appear perfect is strong, the dream may reflect how even small mistakes can feel huge.
