Dreaming of Jesus Breaking Chains - dream meaning with inherited lore
This scene clearly shows a wish to break free from long-held obligations or guilt.
In a dark room or prison, Jesus breaks the chains binding your hands and feet. The door opens, and you slowly step outside or take a deep breath.
Korean lore: Traditionally, dreaming of Jesus breaking chains has sometimes been interpreted as a period when what held you down begins to loosen and a stifling situation grows lighter. It may also be seen as an opportunity to break free from an old burden. (In religious folk interpretations, chains and prisons are read as symbols of bondage, while Jesus breaking them is seen as a symbol of liberation and salvation.)
Through the mind: It may appear when there is something you have struggled to decide, such as quitting your job or ending a relationship, or when you feel bound by your parents’ or company’s expectations. Rather than meaning you should cut everything off right away, it may reflect a wish to see where your power to choose still remains.
