Dreaming of being baptized by Jesus - dream meaning with inherited lore

By the water, Jesus pours water over the dreamer’s head or forehead, or leads them into the water. It may feel cold and tense, but afterward a sense of lightness may remain.

Korean lore: Traditionally, scenes of baptism or being washed with water have sometimes been interpreted as putting old matters in order and preparing for a new beginning. They may also be seen as representing emotional cleansing and a change in direction. (In dream interpretations based on Christian rituals and the symbolism of water, baptism is treated as an image of cleansing and new beginnings.)

Through the mind: You may be reflecting a desire to put your former self behind you and start anew in a relationship or at work. Such scenes may also appear when you’re longing to move beyond guilt or regret.
