Dreaming of an elevator descending deep underground - dream meaning with inherited lore

The elevator passes the basement floors and descends even deeper. As the floor numbers count down or everything grows darker, you may feel uneasy, not knowing how far it will go.

Korean lore: There aren’t many established traditional interpretations of going deep underground. Some read descending as a change in one’s circumstances, but it may feel more natural to look at this scene through the emotions in the dream and what’s happening in your life now. (This draws on a common folk interpretation that compares rising and falling to the course of life, while recognizing that traditions about underground scenes are limited.)

Through the mind: You may be trying to calmly face an issue you’ve put aside, or carrying feelings that haven’t settled yet. Whether you felt afraid or curious as you descended may change how you experience the pressures in your life now.
