I’m not sure if I’m ready to meet someone new.
Some days, the morning slips away and you can’t get yourself to do anything. Yeonhwa doesn’t rush to take that as an answer about meeting someone new.
Scenes
- As the morning slipped away — A long time passed after I woke up, and I still hadn’t even washed up. I spent the whole morning wondering if I could meet someone new.
- I even thought about meeting someone new — I thought about letting someone set me up, then wondered if I was trying to forget my ex or hoping to fall for someone again. I couldn’t find an answer.
- Two feelings, two different questions — In breakup and reconciliation counseling, we don’t treat hesitation about meeting someone new as one single feeling. Missing your ex and wanting a new relationship can coexist, but they’re different feelings.
- Tonight, just write down what you’re hoping for — Tonight, write on a piece of paper: “What would I like to share with someone new?” Even if the answer is unclear, you can still notice one thing you want right now.
- You don’t have to decide today — There may be more than one reason you’re thinking about meeting someone new. If so, you can take your time rereading what you wrote about what you want today.
