Author Story is open: anyone can be a webtoon author

Maumstory Author Story is a service where AI turns the stories our members write into genre webtoons.
You don't need to draw.
A story you've been holding onto, or a single scene that came to you today, is enough to start your first episode.

1. Write a story seed

Open 'Be a Webtoon Author' from the menu and tap 'Create a new work'.
In the 'Story seed' box, write a few lines (from 50 characters): who the lead is, where and how it begins, and a scene you want to see.
If you want to set the characters and world yourself from the start, choose 'Advanced'.

2. Pick an art style and a lead

Choose one of 14 art styles, such as realistic, romance, screen anime, fantasy game CG or chibi, to suit your story.
For the lead, appear yourself as 'My webtoon character', or choose 'Let the AI create one' for someone who fits the story.
In Advanced, you can cast your own character as a new actor, or bring the cast of a past work into a new season.

3. See the work AI designed

Tap 'Create my work' and AI shows you the title, world, lead, cast and the episode 1 plot.
If you like it, tap 'Start with this'; if not, 'Try again' or 'Edit' it.

4. Polish the script and draw

Before drawing, review and freely edit the episode 1 script and work details on one screen.
Once the script is set, every panel is drawn with scenes and speech bubbles. Redraw only the scenes you want, and edit panel lines.
When every panel is drawn, finalize it.

5. Publish and read together

A finalized episode goes to review and then appears on Author Story. Publish in nine genres: fantasy, romance, thriller & mystery, drama, comedy, sci-fi, action, slice of life, and healing & family.
For the next episode, just write the plot. The characters and world carry over from the episodes before.
Share your work page with a link and anyone can start reading. Visitors who aren't logged in can preview the opening scenes, and logging in unlocks the rest. You can also open a work to everyone without logging in.
