Dreaming of running from an authority figure in uniform - dream meaning with inherited lore

Traditionally, this has sometimes been understood as wanting to get away from rules or responsibilities, or as being in a situation where you’re watching your step.

Still in uniform, you run from a superior or someone in authority. You may hear someone calling behind you or look for somewhere to hide, afraid you’ll be caught.

Korean lore: A uniform can bring to mind belonging and rules, so traditional interpretations sometimes read avoiding an authority figure while wearing one as a sign that rules or responsibilities feel burdensome. Still, the scene alone can’t determine what your real relationships are like or what lies ahead. (This interpretation follows a common folk dream-reading tradition that links clothing with authority and relationships.)

Through the mind: You may be feeling weighed down by someone’s expectations at work, school, or home. The running scene may reflect a wish to step away for a while instead of speaking up.
