A dream of a tree trunk floating on water - dream meaning with inherited lore
It may hold the feeling of something you’ve been holding onto finally moving with the current, or of being carried somewhere by your emotions.
A cut trunk floats on the water and drifts slowly along. You may follow it or try to pull it ashore, or simply watch it move away.
Korean lore: There aren’t many established folk interpretations of a tree floating on water. Some readings see a tree as a foundation for life and flowing water as change, and interpret the scene as something moving away from your hands. (This draws on the broader folk tradition of reading trees and water as images of vitality and change.)
Through the mind: You may have this dream when plans or relationships seem to be unfolding beyond your control. If you pulled the drifting wood ashore, it may reflect a wish to take hold of things again; if you let it pass, you may be getting ready to let go.
