Dreaming a tattoo rubs off on your clothes - dream meaning with inherited lore
A tattoo rubbing off on your clothes may reflect worry that hidden thoughts or personal choices will come out into the open.
A design or ink from your skin smears onto your clothes. The mood of the dream shifts depending on whether you try to hide or wipe away the stain.
Korean lore: It’s hard to find an established traditional interpretation of a tattoo moving onto clothing. You might see it as a mark appearing somewhere else and consider what you were trying to hide or reveal in the dream. (Folk interpretations rarely address a tattoo transferring to clothing, so this scene is read through what’s hidden and revealed.)
Through the mind: You may be feeling uneasy that people around you could find out about a personal thought or choice. It may be worth reflecting on whether you’ve been thinking about the line between what’s private and what you’re comfortable sharing.
