Dreaming of a black sun in an elevator - dream meaning with inherited lore
It may reflect anxiety or pressure from feeling that things are changing quickly beyond your control.
A black sun floats inside the elevator or hangs near the ceiling. You feel stifled as the floor numbers keep descending or the doors refuse to open, and sometimes the black sun disappears only after the elevator stops.
Korean lore: Traditionally, spaces that go up and down have sometimes been connected with shifts in status or circumstances. A scene that also includes a black sun has sometimes been interpreted as a state where the direction of change is hard to see. (This scene combines the folk-dream-reading symbols of rising and falling with the modern image of a moving space and the anxiety represented by a black sun.)
Through the mind: This dream may appear when you feel that things are being decided at work or in daily life before you have a say. Even if the next step is unclear, separating out the issue on the one floor you can check right now may make your thoughts feel less tangled.
