Dreaming of falling asleep on a rooftop - dream meaning with inherited lore
Falling asleep on a rooftop invites you to look at the wish to set aside others' eyes for a while and rest alone.
You lie down on the rooftop floor or in a chair and fall asleep. You sense the sky or the sounds around you, but you may feel strangely comfortable—or too uneasy to fall asleep easily.
Korean lore: Traditionally, falling asleep has sometimes been interpreted as a state in which life’s current pauses briefly so the body and mind can rest. Falling asleep in a high place may be seen as taking some distance from an important matter and looking at it from afar. (This follows the folk-dream approach of reading sleep and rest as symbols of life’s flow coming to a stop, while viewing the rooftop as a place of distance.)
Through the mind: If you have been tense at work or in your relationships, the dream may hold a wish to recover quietly away from people’s eyes. If you felt more exposed than comfortable, it may reflect the sense that you are not truly getting enough rest.
