A dream of bats flying under the roof - dream meaning with inherited lore
It may reflect a situation where an unfamiliar presence or a worry I’ve put off is weighing on me.
A few bats fly beneath the roof in the dusk, then change direction. I may startle at the sound of their wings or follow them with my eyes.
Korean lore: There doesn’t seem to be a widely shared, fixed traditional interpretation of bats coming and going beneath a roof. You might consider both the folk reading of the roof as protection for the home and the unfamiliar atmosphere of the dream. (This interpretation draws broadly on folk readings of the home and roof as places of protection and daily life.)
Through the mind: This kind of scene may appear when an unexpected change or hard-to-explain unease has been building. Whether the bat frightened you or simply seemed unusual may show how you’re feeling about unfamiliar situations.
