Dreaming that your résumé is shredded - dream meaning with inherited lore
This may connect to wanting to put your past work experience behind you, or worrying that what you’ve built so far could disappear.
Your résumé goes into a shredder and is cut into small pieces, or you look at the scraps after it’s been shredded. You may feel relieved, regretful, or uneasy, and the emotion from the dream stays with you.
Korean lore: There isn’t a widely established traditional interpretation of shredding a résumé. It may be more useful to see getting rid of the papers as sorting through the past or moving in a new direction. (It’s hard to find a folk tradition about shredding a résumé, so this interpretation is limited to the general themes of putting things in order and change.)
Through the mind: If you’re thinking about leaving your job or changing jobs, this may reflect wanting to let go of your past work experience. If the paper disappeared against your wishes, it may also hold a worry that your efforts so far won’t be recognized.
