A Dream of Seeing a New Face After Rebirth - dream meaning with inherited lore
Traditionally, the scene of having a different face after rebirth is sometimes seen as a process of accepting a new identity or direction in life.
When you look in the mirror, your consciousness is clearly unchanged, but your face looks like someone else’s. An unfamiliar yet somehow familiar expression remains in the mirror.
Korean lore: Traditionally, dreams of seeing a changed face after rebirth have sometimes been interpreted as scenes of viewing your past self and new self separately. They may also be seen as part of redefining yourself during a transition in life. (In folk dream interpretations, the mirror is a symbol reflecting your appearance and inner self. When it appears with rebirth, it has been read as a scene of examining a changed sense of self.)
Through the mind: This may appear when your past self and present self feel different, or when you have become unfamiliar to yourself while trying to fit the image others expect. It may also hold a desire to be recognized in a new form.
