Dreaming of Repeated Calls from the Wrong Number - dream meaning with inherited lore

You get a call from an unknown number, and each time you answer, the caller asks for someone else. The same number appears again after you hang up, leaving you unsure who’s calling.

Korean lore: There’s no clear, widely established traditional reading of repeatedly getting calls meant for someone else. In common folk interpretations, a phone can stand for news or connection between people, so you might consider it alongside any sense of misunderstanding or missed connection. (This interpretation draws on common folk readings that use phone calls as a symbol of contact and news.)

Through the mind: If you’ve recently had trouble understanding someone’s intentions or found yourself repeating the same explanation, that fatigue may have found its way into the dream. It could also be a chance to reflect on whose expectations you’ve been carrying.
