A dream where the 13 card is eliminated - dream meaning with inherited lore
It may hold a worry that what you have could be rejected by someone else’s standards.
In a card game or drawing, you pick the card marked 13, but it’s eliminated. You feel both wronged and relieved, and look over the cards, hoping for another chance.
Korean lore: Traditionally, a scene in which a chosen object is excluded has sometimes been seen as a sign of an opportunity changing. If 13 made the rejection stand out, some interpretations have understood it as reflecting the burden of taboos and competition rather than predicting actual failure. (This interpretation combines the common folk-dream reading of selection and rejection as symbols of opportunity and competition with the image of a taboo number.)
Through the mind: This scene may appear when there is something you want to be chosen for, such as a job, a career change, an exam, or a relationship. If you felt relieved after being rejected, it may also be worth noticing your wish to step away from that competition for a while.
