A dream of seeing a mouse running across the ceiling - dream meaning with inherited lore
Seeing a mouse move across a ceiling beyond your reach may touch on worries that are hard to control or pressure coming down from above.
When you look up, a mouse races across the ceiling or through a gap in it. You cannot reach it even when you try to catch it, and you hunch down in case it falls or keep following it with your eyes.
Korean lore: Traditionally, a mouse climbing up and down high places has sometimes been interpreted as unstable matters before you or movements you did not expect. Because the mouse cannot be caught, it may also suggest that something troubling you still feels out of reach. (This is based on the folk tradition of reading a mouse’s quick movements and tendency to hide as signs of anxiety and change.)
Through the mind: You may be dealing with something where you do not have enough say, or a situation—such as a superior’s decision—that you cannot change right away. Scenes like this can appear when the source of your anxiety is clear, but a solution feels far away.
