Dreaming of seeing a monster in the mirror - dream meaning with inherited lore
A scene where a monster appears in the mirror can lead you to reflect on the gap between how others see you and how you feel about yourself.
While looking in a mirror or window, you discover a monster's face instead of your own. Even after checking again, it may not change, or it may briefly return to a human face before looking monstrous again.
Korean lore: Traditionally, a dream of an unfamiliar figure appearing in a mirror has sometimes been interpreted as facing worries within yourself or a hidden side of who you are. The clearer the monster’s expression, the more strongly the lingering matter may be felt. (In folk dream interpretation, a mirror has long been seen as something that reflects your appearance and inner self, while an unfamiliar figure within it is treated as a clue to hidden emotions.)
Through the mind: You may be in a period when the way you appear at work or in relationships feels very different from how you truly feel. A scene like this can also appear when your self-judgment about your looks, achievements, or age has grown harsh.
