A Dream of Seeing Numbers on a Scale - dream meaning with inherited lore
The number displayed on a scale may be connected to evaluating yourself lately or trying to meet a certain standard.
You step onto a bathroom scale or another scale and check the number. You may be surprised when it differs from what you expected, or relieved when it has gone down.
Korean lore: Traditionally, numbers on a scale have sometimes been interpreted as a scene of examining the balance of your work or the weight of daily life. Folk interpretations may connect them with health, but they are not grounds for judging your actual condition. (In folk dream interpretation, a scale is read as a symbol of balance and calculation, with the displayed number connected to the size of your current burden.)
Through the mind: This may show a wish to compare yourself with others' standards or your own goals, rather than a physical change itself. If you have been checking your recent achievements, appearance, or habits, it may appear in this form.
