A dream of the number on a scale going up and down - dream meaning with inherited lore
A changing number on the scale can connect with a feeling that you’ve been more focused lately on how you judge yourself or your body.
You step on the scale and check the number, but it rises or falls. You step on again to check, or react with surprise to the change.
Korean lore: There is no widely established traditional interpretation of a dream where the number on a scale changes. Some may read changing numbers as a sign of change, but there’s no basis for taking it as a prediction about your weight or health. (This draws cautiously on folk interpretations that link changing numbers with luck; there are no prominent folk interpretations specific to the bathroom scale.)
Through the mind: You may have been checking your appearance or how you feel more often lately, or become more sensitive to other people’s opinions. The feelings you had about the number in the dream may offer a clue to the standards you’re holding yourself to right now.
