Dream of cutting a rope underwater - dream meaning with inherited lore

You try to cut an underwater rope with a knife. The water is murky and your hand won’t move easily, which feels frustrating, but the rope snaps and drifts away with the current.

Korean lore: In traditional interpretations, water can stand for emotions or the flow of daily life, while cutting with a knife can suggest trying to resolve something that’s been stuck. If you struggled to cut something underwater, the scene may reflect a situation where your feelings are hard to settle. (We drew on folk interpretations that connect water with the flow of emotions and a knife with decisive action and resolution.)
