Dreaming your name appears in a new family register - dream meaning with inherited lore

You find your name in the back of the family register or in a newly added section. There may be a date or relationship beside it, and seeing the entry makes you feel surprised or glad.

Korean lore: Traditionally, a name being added to a family genealogy has sometimes been interpreted in connection with family succession or changing family ties. A dream alone can’t determine real changes in your family or your future. (In folk dream readings, having your name added to a family genealogy is seen as a symbol of family continuity and each member’s place in it.)

Through the mind: You may be taking on a new role or noticing a change in your place within the family. You may also hope that the changes in your own life will find a place in your family’s story.
