Dreaming of a Full Moon in an Elevator - dream meaning with inherited lore
A full moon appearing in a cramped elevator can reflect both anticipation and nervousness growing during a moment of change.
When the elevator doors close, a full moon appears on the inner wall or ceiling. It moves as the floors change, or stays there even after the doors open.
Korean lore: There isn’t a clear, longstanding folk interpretation that links elevators and the full moon. Drawing on the tradition of reading the full moon as a wish or a sense of fullness, we can also look at the feeling of change in the journey. (This interpretation applies folk readings of the full moon as a wish or a sense of fullness to a modern scene of travel.)
Through the mind: You may be feeling both anticipation and tension about moving into a new stage, such as changing jobs or moving house. Which floor the elevator stopped at, and whether the moon reassured or weighed on you, may reflect how fast things feel right now.
Fortune angle: Some interpretations connect the full moon with wishes coming to fruition. The elevator’s rise or descent can also be a way to reflect on the direction of change you’re feeling now.
