Dreaming Someone Else Is Sitting at Your Old Desk - dream meaning with inherited lore
Seeing someone else in the place you left may stir the realization that your old role has ended, or thoughts about what was yours.
An unfamiliar employee or successor is working at the seat or desk you used to use. Watching them, you feel glad or strangely wistful, and the place feels unfamiliar.
Korean lore: There isn’t a widely established folk interpretation of someone else being in your old spot at work. You might see it as a moment of checking in with how things changed after you left. (In folk dream interpretation, a workplace often serves as a backdrop for the roles you take on and your relationships at work.)
Through the mind: You may wonder how your role carried on after you quit or changed jobs, or want to see what mark you left there. This scene may also come up when you’re wondering whether you’re valued in your current role.
