Dreaming of looking for something at a former workplace - dream meaning with inherited lore

You open the desk or locker at your former workplace and look for things you left behind. You find papers, photos, clothes, or small belongings, then put them in your bag or hold them tightly as you leave.

Korean lore: Traditionally, this has sometimes been interpreted as reclaiming something—or a skill—you thought you had lost. It may also be seen as a process of recovering or sorting out what belongs to you. (This interpretation connects the common folk reading of finding a lost item as a sign of recovery and resolution with a scene set at a former workplace.)

Through the mind: You may still be carrying regret, pride, or skills you learned after leaving your former job, along with a wish to check in with them again. You may also be wondering how to bring your former strengths into your current work.
