Dream of a former coworker getting promoted - dream meaning with inherited lore
It may be a scene revealing that you are comparing your pace with a former coworker’s or wanting recognition at work.
You hear that a former coworker has been promoted or join a celebration. You may feel genuinely happy while also comparing it with your own situation.
Korean lore: Traditionally, this has sometimes been interpreted as someone else’s rise bringing good motivation or opportunities into your own work. It may also be seen as a dream reflecting comparison and competition. (In folk dream interpretations, promotion and rising status are sometimes connected with the flow of work or social recognition.)
Through the mind: News about a coworker or a peer’s career may have been on your mind lately. It may not be only envy; the wish to grow in your own way may have appeared in the dream as a scene of comparison.
