A Dream of Waiting for Rescue on a Rooftop During a Flood - dream meaning with inherited lore
It may reflect waiting for someone's help or a clear sign while facing something too difficult to solve alone.
With everything around me submerged by the flood, I stand on a rooftop. I look down at the water while waiting for rescuers or a boat in the distance.
Korean lore: Traditionally, looking down at flooding from a high place has sometimes been interpreted as enduring a crisis from a step removed. A scene of waiting for rescue may also be seen as a wish for a way to receive help to appear. (In folk dream interpretation, high places are read as positions away from danger, while floods are read as waves of major change or worry; the two images are often considered together.)
Through the mind: You may want to wait for things to settle rather than reach a conclusion right away. You may want to ask for help but feel hesitant about making the first contact.
