Dream of floodwater rising to your chest - dream meaning with inherited lore
It may show big feelings or burdens rising so close that you feel there’s little room to catch your breath.
Floodwater rises past your waist and up to your chest. The current pushes against you, and breathing feels difficult, but you keep looking around and holding on.
Korean lore: Traditionally, dreams of water rising high have sometimes been interpreted as a major change or an energy that's hard to handle. The interpretation can vary depending on how deep the water was and how you felt in the dream. (In folk dream interpretation, the water's height and reach can also be read as a measure of how big a change may be.)
Through the mind: The dream may have pictured the pressure of tasks or feelings piling up all at once. Consider whether you have time to catch your breath or someone you can ask for help.
