A dream about someone getting your name wrong - dream meaning with inherited lore
It may reflect worries about being misunderstood at work or having others get the wrong idea about you.
Someone looks at your ID and says your name wrong, or asks you to repeat it several times. You want to correct them, but miss your chance or watch how others react.
Korean lore: A scene where an ID badge shows the wrong name doesn’t have a set meaning in traditional dream interpretation. It may connect with worries about miscommunication at work. (This interpretation focuses on the modern context of the name on an ID badge and how people are addressed at work.)
Through the mind: If you’re building relationships with a new team or manager, the dream may hold worries about how others will see you. It may help to sort out whether there’s an actual misunderstanding to clear up or pressure around being evaluated.
