Dreaming of a smell in an elevator - dream meaning with inherited lore
It may hold the feeling of being forced to face an emotion you’d rather avoid or an uncomfortable relationship in a confined space.
A musty or foul smell fills the elevator. You may hold your breath or want to get out quickly.
Korean lore: There isn't a clear traditional interpretation that reads an elevator's smell as a sign of good or bad fortune. An unpleasant sensation may connect with wanting to avoid a situation or feeling that bothers you in real life. (Sensory details in modern spaces like elevators rarely have a shared interpretation in folk dream readings.)
Through the mind: A smell in a dream may express having a relationship or environment that's uncomfortable but hard to leave. It's also possible that a real smell or how you were feeling before bed found its way into the dream.
