Dreaming of riding an elevator while avoiding a coworker’s gaze - dream meaning with inherited lore

Traditionally, this can be seen as reflecting how things are going with someone you work with, or as a dream shaped by distance or something on your mind at work.

You ride the elevator with a coworker, but neither of you makes eye contact. You pass an awkward moment looking at your phone or the floor numbers.

Korean lore: Traditionally, a coworker moving alongside you may be read as a sign of workplace relationships or a shared direction. A moment of avoiding their eyes can be explored alongside the feelings in the dream and your relationships in waking life. (In folk dream interpretations, someone accompanying you may stand for relationships, while traveling together may reflect the course of work or daily life.)

Through the mind: You may feel uneasy about a coworker, or have felt awkward in a recent conversation or collaboration. Or the dream may reflect wanting to approach them but waiting for the right moment.
