A dream about counting eight things - dream meaning with inherited lore
This scene has sometimes been interpreted as reflecting a wish not to overlook anything you need to take care of or any resources you need.
You set the items down one by one and count them, until there are eight. You check again to make sure none are missing, or quietly repeat the number.
Korean lore: Some interpretations link the number 8 itself with wealth or good fortune, but there isn’t a clear traditional meaning for simply counting objects. It may be read as reflecting a wish to take stock of what you have and put it in order. (This interpretation draws on folk dream readings that connect the number 8 with wealth and energy.)
Through the mind: You may be paying close attention to your schedule, money, or things you need to prepare. Repeatedly counting may reflect a wish to check that nothing gets missed.
