A Dream of the Devil’s Reflection in a Mirror - dream meaning with inherited lore
This may be a moment of facing an unfamiliar side of yourself or feelings you’d rather keep hidden.
You look in the mirror and see the devil instead of yourself, or your face seems to turn devilish. When your familiar face changes, you may feel frightened or bewildered.
Korean lore: There isn’t a clear, independent traditional interpretation of seeing a devil in the mirror. It might be read as a symbol of facing an unfamiliar side of yourself, but a dream alone can’t determine your personality or what will happen. (This scene is closer to a symbolic reading that brings together the mirror’s link to self-awareness and the devil’s fear than to a set folk interpretation of good or bad fortune.)
Through the mind: A scene like this may come to mind when a choice or feeling that differs from your usual self leaves you feeling like a stranger to yourself. You might use it as a chance to safely consider whether you’ve hidden or suppressed any feelings lately.
