Dreaming of the devil’s face changing - dream meaning with inherited lore

The devil’s face shifts between a stranger’s and someone familiar’s. You feel uneasy, unsure which face is real.

Korean lore: Traditionally, a changing demon has sometimes been interpreted as a sign of an untrustworthy situation or inner confusion. There’s no need to immediately identify the face in your dream with someone in real life. (This draws on folk dream interpretations that read changing forms and unsettling beings as images of confusion or wariness.)

Through the mind: A scene like this may come to mind when someone’s words and actions don’t seem to match, or your feelings about a relationship keep shifting. Rather than trying to guess who the person is, it may help to notice what felt uncomfortable to you.
