Dreaming of blocking a constellation with your hand - dream meaning with inherited lore
It may connect with a wish to stop looking for a moment at the standards before you or expectations that feel burdensome.
You raise your hand in front of a constellation in the sky and cover part of it. Starlight may slip through your fingers, leaving you feeling relieved or stifled after covering it.
Korean lore: Traditionally, dreams of covering a shining sign in the sky have sometimes been interpreted as turning away from an opportunity or direction right in front of you. But if you felt at ease after covering it, the dream may also suggest wanting to pause and rest for a while. (This draws on the common folk tradition of connecting the act of covering or avoiding light with hesitation in the heart.)
Through the mind: This scene may appear when other people’s expectations, comparisons, or schedules feel so vivid that you want to step back for a moment. Thinking about what you wanted to cover up may help give a more definite name to the burden you are carrying now.
