Dreaming of finding old files on a computer - dream meaning with inherited lore

While searching through computer folders, you find old files such as photos, documents, or notes. You open them and feel glad or wistful as something forgotten for a long time appears before you again.

Korean lore: Scenes of finding something lost have traditionally sometimes been interpreted as a process of restoring an opportunity or relationship. A dream about finding old files can likewise be seen as discovering useful meaning again in past experiences. (This interpretation applies the folk-dream motif of finding a lost object as recovery and rediscovery to modern digital files.)

Through the mind: This dream may appear when you are recalling an old dream, person, or project, or comparing it with who you are now. Rather than meaning you want to return to the past, it may be a process of finding clues you need today in what you experienced then.
